dannyjohncannon: 20 years ago Jerry Bruckheimer gave me a pilot script. He had under five weeks to prep it and 12 days to shoot, with a budget half the size of a indie movie. He was unsure it was even possible to pull it off. Always grateful to him, and Billy, for the artistic freedom they allowed me.

dannyjohncannon: The pilot tested poorly but CBS and ABC knew there was potential. I went back to movies and experienced TV directors took over my baby. Weeks later I got emergency phone calls from all of the producers, episode 2 was a disappointment. I went back and worked hard to make sure the style and storytelling of the pilot was maintained in every episode, writing, producing and directing. 5 years went by like 5 weeks.

Hey guys!
We got a latest glimpse of Billy when Steppenwolf had their season preview event last Oct 21 via Zoom. This was a pre-recorded video that was shown during the online event. But I'd say he looks good and relaxed though.
He's part of their virtual programming series and their virtual play is scheduled to be released June next year. This is a next best thing for those who are unable to go to the US or never had the opportunity to watch him play onstage.

katebolz: Tonight's virtual fundraiser was inspirational and up-lifting. Marg Helgenberger – a native Nebraskan (North Bend!) and award-winning actress – joined me for an evening of conversation and cocktails.
The stories we've shared and heard during this campaign are genuine. We need more genuine leaders in Congress.
