GREAT NEWS! TEAPSPA has been introduced into Congress. The days of the animal circus in the U.S. are numbered.

Thank you Representatives Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) and Ryan Costello (R-PA) for sponsoring the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act and for speaking so eloquently about the need for it at the press conference on Capitol Hill yesterday. Thank you Jorja Fox and Eric Szmanda for your wonderful words and your tireless efforts to save all animals being held captive in the circus. A special thank you to former Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA), who first introduced an earlier version of this bill in the 112th Congress. He remains as committed as ever to seeing this very important bill passed.

Thank you to the entire ADI staff for your dedication and tenacity to bringing about an end to the long national nightmare of animal circuses. Thank you Jan Creamer,Tim Phillips, Gigi Glendinning, Matt Rossell, Christina, Jett KA, Rowena and everyone else I missed who have dedicated their lives to ending the injustice of the animal circuses. And thank you to everyone who has or is going to contact their Representative to get them to sign on to the bill. This bill will be passed one day because of your support, Without the grassroots efforts of people like you from all over the Country this bill will not pass. The public has spoken, they are turning away from the animal abusing circuses in droves. If everyone who opposes animal cruelty in the circus contacts their Representative this bill will pass in a landslide. Thank you for all you do on behalf of the animals. Please tell your family, friends, colleagues, random strangers, even those trolling you on f.b. to support TEAPSPA.

One last thank you to Representative Raul Grijalva who made a point to bring up Nosey, the long suffering elephant. He talked about her plight and used her as an example of why it is so important to pass TEAPSPA
